Asslamoaliqum Brother,

Thanks for your comments & reading my post.

Below are answers to your questions:

Is camp available on rent in “MINAPIN,HAPAKUN,TAGAPHARI” and in diran for stay night……..
if yes then the rent????

No i think there is no camp available for rent at MINAPIN, HAPAKUN & TAGAPHARI but i think you can ask to your Guide or Porters to arrange a camp for 2 to 5 persons for rent then may be they can arrange it but at Gilgit City you can get a camp for rent but for that you must submit the Original CNIC at Shop and then on your way back you will collect it & return the camp.

At Diran there is a guest house DIRAN GUEST HOUSE, you can stay night there & rent in June 2008 was i think Rs.250 per Night and the management of DIRAN GUEST HOUSE will help you in hiring a Guide + Porters for your luggage handling but please do bargaining and finalize everything.

Wish you a Safe & Happy journey & Let me know if you get stuck or have any questions ?

Mubbashir,

Yes. You did a great work by updating all of us. It will be great if we keep this information as updated as possible.

Shujaat is also leaving for Hajj on 29th September, inshAllah. So I hope he would take sometime before that to update this post.

Mubbashir,

Thanks for stopping by and commenting in detail. I really appreciate this. Shujaat's trek was about 3 years ago so I will ask Shujaat to update this post with details from your comment.

you didnt mention a couple things, number 1, there is a rent if u camp at Hapakun, 250 per camp, same is the case when you camp at Tagaphiri, the rent there is 350 per camp, number 2 you cannot get a van of Gilgit from Minapin, i just came back from this trek a couple days ago so i know the latest situation. You have to hire a jeep so that it can take you to Diran hotel, the van that comes from Gilgit drops you at Minapin bypass and Diran hotel is very very far away from that bypass so there is no way you can cover that distance by foot. Lmao you can only do 1 trek , either the trek from Minapin bypass to Diran hotel or the real Rakaposhi trek. Same is the case vise versa, no van takes you to Giligit , the Diran hotel car drops you at Rakaposhi viewpoint hotel, from where all the vans that go t0 Gilgit passes. You need to consult any person who is in Gilgit or Hunza to book your seats in the van that is going to Gilgit. We didnt knew that so we got stuck at Rakaposhi view point hotel for over 4 hours, then we consulted a person in Hunza and he conformed our seats in the van and reached Gilgit

Good to know about your plan Aqib Dar. Wish you a successful and safe trip, inshAllah.

Brother you asked "Hows the weather in September and what will be jeep expenses, camping site, potter and guide?"

Basically September is the last month of Summer season and the weather will be rainy in the day and night will be too cold.

Jeep Expanse : In this trek there is no Jeep Expanse because if you reach early at Gilgit then you can get the public transport direct to Minapin and it will be available till 10 PM

Camping site, Porter and guide: Basically in that trek there are 2 camping sites which are HAPAKUN & TAGAPHARI and at Mainapin there is DIRAN GUEST HOUSE they will help you in hiring a Guide + Porters for your luggage handling but please do bargaining and finalize everything.

Wish you a Safe & Happy journey & waiting your reply that how was your Journey ?
